First of all, it is important to focus on God who is present in each one of us. If we don’t take the time to stop for a moment, to silence our hearts, how could we speak to him or listen to him ?
Prayer is an appointment with God, and when we have an appointment with someone, we do our best to be available for the person. This means that for some time we put aside our own preoccupations as well as everything around. Thus, there are moments and places better than others for prayer.
Don’t forget that many small events in our everyday life (an encounter, a view etc) could be moments of gratitude or of demands. These moments are also a way of praying.
